This website was a lot of work, a lot of time, and a lot of fun to build. To begin, it was a redesign of an existing site with over 10,000 members. So in the project guidelines, not only did I have to create a whole new site updating its look to current web trends, I also had to move all 10,000+ members info and profile pics over to the new site as well.

We were also ditching the old CMS and switching over to a much more robust CMS platform. Along with this Content Management System we added many new modules to allow for a lot of really cool features.

Another upgrade for this site was taking it from a rather generic server and rebuilding the new site on my lightning fast servers. The speed difference was unreal thanks to the new CMS and the upgraded server.

To make sure the site had no down time during the switch, I used a little process I've developed that always kept the site up and running even while switching the DNS (Domain Name Servers).

Other cool features with this site is the addition of the Facebook Connect API to connect this site to Facebook. Not to mention the Facebook share button and other sharing features.

Awesome community site with tons of features and a great design, even if I do say so myself.
